Who knew Dubai was more than sun, sand, and skyscrapers? We flew to this metropolis for an engagement shoot with Rico & Shayn, and were pleasantly surprised by all the sights and sounds that Dubai presented us. While we envisioned taking photographs against the vast desert, we didn’t quite expect that we would be presented with so many textures and character in Old Dubai (also known as Al Bastakiya). Needless to say, we had so much fun capturing in photographs Rico, Shayn, and their love against the beautiful nooks and crannies of Dubai. It was something we didn’t really expect, but at the same time, we knew based off experience that there’s always fun surprises in destination shoots. Oh Dubai, you were amazing! Can’t wait to get to the next destination.
