There are days when I wake up and inspiration is lacking, so I have to be deliberate in looking for it. Sometimes I have to spend more time with my sweet daughter, sometimes i need a quiet chat with my wife. Work is far from mechanical; it demands that I am present with my mind and my soul. Thankfully, my clients are people in love, so I can naturally draw inspiration from what they show and communicate to each other.
Such was the case when I went out of town for Danica and Ivan’s engagement session. The trip was all worth it. I was able to clear my mind on the way there, and when I saw the place, I knew that this shoot would be as special as special could be. It was gloomy all day, and we even had to pause at times because of rain, but it wasn’t at all difficult to capture in photos their love for each other, for it naturally manifested.
