The Same Day Edit is a collage/montage of your wedding day moments. For photography, it’s often called Onsite Photo Slideshow. This is something included in all our standard wedding packages, and one we enjoy making (and watching!). Not only will you watch it at the end of your reception, you’ll also rewatch and share it.
There’s different styles to doing an onsite slideshow. Your wedding slideshow might have a light and easy feel, a more cinematic mood, or an ultra fun one! However, one factor decides it: what actually happens during the day. We prepare in advance at least three slideshow styles onto which your photos will be loaded for show. Based on the events that pan out throughout the day, we select the slideshow style we’re going for, and include the best music to go with it.
For instance, if before, during, or after your wedding there’s a lot of tears shed, then it makes sense to highlight these moments in music and transitions that celebrate the sentimentality of the day. On the other hand, you might have a wedding with fun moments with your entourage, or you love being silly with your fiance, then your photographs will have more impact if played to the tune of folksy, melodic tunes.
That said, we typically look for and choose which songs to use on your slideshow. We’re always on a hunt for new songs, and our library is always updated so we can give you the best slideshow with the best music to go with it.
