Doing a prenup is just so much fun! It’s something you do not because it’s required by the law or mandated by a church.
It’s something you do to celebrate your upcoming wedding. It captures in photographs that time when you were extra doe-eyed for each other, excited and radiant to just exist in the same place at the same time.
Plus, and this is a big plus, it’s a great time to get to know your photography team and build your rapport with each other. On your wedding day, we’ll be besties who know each other from that time when we traveled together to a mountain while you were wearing that uncomfortable (but really gorgeous) dress!
Planning your engagement session should be fun, and one of the most important aspects of it is the venue.
When looking at your options, make sure that you consider the following factors:
Your personal preference. Are you an outdoors type of couple, or do you love the idea of an at-home, intimate couple session? This one question will already filter through the options.
If you can find a venue where you can have both an outdoor and an indoor session, that’s great!
Your personality. Who wouldn’t want to have a by-the-beach swimwear couple session? The thing is, you might not be comfortable doing this. So even if Instagram influencers are flexing their shoreline shots, it might not be the one for you.
Choose a venue that would highlight what you are as a couple.
Your love story. We love this! A prenup venue doesn’t always have to be ultra scenic. What it should be is a meaningful place that reflects your love story. If you can take us right to the place where you met, had your first date, traveled together, that would be amazing! Your eyes will light up just being in that place!
The weather. Although we only have two seasons in the Philippines, it is highly unpredictable. Nonetheless, it pays to plan around months that are more likely to give you fair weather and therefore plenty of sunlight! We love the months of December, January, and February for cool weather, and of course the summer for a Plan A type of shoot all the way.
